Adam & Christina, in the 1830 Ohio census, were both age 60-69 (born 1761-1770).
Son Philip, b. abt. 1787, married before 1810 (to Mary Elizabeth Miller).
Daughter Catherine "Kate" must have married by now (to ____ Burlachers/Murlachers).
*The son b. 1794-1800 was not Jonas. He was son of Adam & Sara Hartzell. The only clue
to George's birth year is the 1830 VA Census, which shows b. 1781 - 1790 (error?).
If Leonard was born in late 1799, he would have been under 10 in the summer of 1810.
Daniel was not D. A. Hartzell, 1860 Storrs Twp. (Cincinatti), Hamilton Co., Ohio, b. 1802 VA.
He was "David". A Daniel Hartsell, possible brother, gave a family Bible to David Hartsell.
    See http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ohhamilt/dir1840cinti3.htm#H
The Adam who married Sara was s/o our Adam's uncle Jacob. See "The Other Adam Hartzell".
Note: Adam Hetzel m. Mary Spiekard 1826 OH. David Hetzel m. Margaret Nieval 1830 OH.
There was a Hetzel family in Montgomery County, Ohio.

b. 1785-1794 (abt. 1792) - dau. of James Toney?
b. 1800-1810 (abt. 1810-1811)
George is listed 8 households from Adam (depends on census taker's route).
I think George was most likely Adam's cousin.

(most likely s/o Adam's uncle John who married Catherine Schneider in 1781,
the clue being that George named his first two children Catherine and John.
In 1809, George married Susannah Toney in Franklin County, VA. Surety was James Toney.
In 1820, James Toney (of VA) married Sarah Lybrook (of VA) in Union County, IN.
In 1827, Catherine Hartsell married James Alexander in Union County, IN.
In 1830, George was surrounded with neighbors from Franklin Co. VA.
Around 1830, George, Leonard and David were seemingly connected in east-central Indiana.
George and David were shoemakers. See "Evidence for Ancestry of David Hartzell".
George named first two children Catherine & John, and second son Adam.
James & Catherine named two of their sons David and Adam.
In 1837, David named his first son "James Alexander Hartzell".

b. 1801-1810 (abt. 1802?)
b. 1801-1810 (abt. 1805)
* I think the 1830 census taker marked the wrong column. David was age 24, unmarried, his father was 65 and probably not healthy (he died not long after), so David was most likely still at home.
